LIVES OVER KNIVES is a company that focuses on the personal development, education & training of young individuals growing up within the community. We are a UK based social enterprise which aims to support the disadvantaged youth in order to help invest into and create a better brighter future.
We offer opportunities to 16-24 year olds and provide them with options for work experience, we provide them with courses in order for them to gain qualifications. We provide them with advice and guidance on career options, help them build their cvs, confidence and transferable skills in the workplace. At lives over knives , we are about helping the youth explore their interests and chase their passions and we help them in which ever way possible along that journey! We collaborate with young people to create an online digital interactive magazine to support young people in up-skilling and getting into employment.
Our mentors exist to guide the growth of the young people, setting them on the right path.

Knife crime is growing problem in our community. There were 285 killings by a knife or sharp instrument in the 12 months ending March 2018, Office for National Statistics analysis shows. The ONS says one in four (71) of all victims (285) were men aged 18-24.
